Vegan mandelmassa/almond paste
It's really easy to make your own maddelmassa to fill those classic Swedish semlor with.
Ingredients
200g mandel/almonds (G)
200g florsocker/icing sugar (G)
0,5 dl vatten/water
(G) Available at Gram
Method
Start by cooking the almonds in a small amount of water for a few minutes until the peel softens.
Then, rinse the almonds in cold water and pour them into a food processor.
Add the sugar and water and process until they have turned into a fine paste.
Store in the fridge until needed.
