Vegan mandelmassa/almond paste

It's really easy to make your own maddelmassa to fill those classic Swedish semlor with.

Ingredients

  • 200g mandel/almonds (G)

  • 200g florsocker/icing sugar (G)

  • 0,5 dl vatten/water

 (G) Available at Gram

Method

  1. Start by cooking the almonds in a small amount of water for a few minutes until the peel softens.

  2. Then, rinse the almonds in cold water and pour them into a food processor.

  3. Add the sugar and water and process until they have turned into a fine paste.

  4. Store in the fridge until needed.
