Rye flour is a coarse stone-ground wholemeal flour of rye. It contains the whole rye kernel with bran and sprout. The flour is rich in fiber and a source of magnesium, iron and zinc. From rye flour you bake delicious sourdough bread. If you bake with yeast, you need to add wheat flour. Rye flour is also good for cooking porridge.
