Energy balls done two ways

Raw balls are super quick to make and are packed with energy. Here we give you two ways of doing them. Personally I can’t get enough of the goji ones (that salty/sweet thing!) and my kids would say the same for the date & nut version.

You can pick up everything you need for these at Gram, just ask if you want us to help you put the ingredients together.

Date & nut raw energy balls

Ingredients

  • 3 dl dates

  • 2 dl mixed nuts (almonds, hazel, brassil, etc)

  • 1 tbs coconut oil

  • 2 tbs chia seeds

  • 1 tbs hemp powder

  • 1 tbs cocoa powder

  • 1 tbs agave syrup

  • 1 dl desiccated coconut (optional)

  1. Put the nuts in a food processor and blend until they are ground to small pieces.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until they form a paste.

  3. Form the mixture into small balls with your hands.

  4. If you want, they look pretty rolled in desiccated coconut.

  5. Put in the freezer for 30 mins and then store in the fridge.
